Not many early on. : Unfortunately high blood pressure does not have many if any symptoms early on. That's why it can go unnoticed unless you get regular checkups. Late complications can include heart disease related shortness of breath, kidney problems and even strokes and heart attacks.

Maybe none: In majority of cases patients have no symptoms at all, that is why it's called a silent killer. Sometimes patients might experience headaches, or some other vague symptoms.
