Lhermitte sign ?: Lhermitte sign (electric shock-like sensations that run down the back and/or limbs with flexion of the neck) may be seen in a condition called multiple sclerosis. In a young female who experiences this sensation ms should be evaluated for as this condition can present in an inconspicuous manner. Spinal cord compression is another possibility, but less likely in the younger age group.
