Have low-ish blood pressure 110/58, and feel light headed/confused. i just got out of the doctors for routine tests. what should i do? should i go to emergency clinic or hold off?

BP of 110/58 is not low for your age unless your blood pressure had been very high in the past and it was brought down to that number with new medication(s). If you are not on BP med, you may be sick with something else, not due to that blood pressure. You were just seen by your doctor, call him for advice.

You may be dehydrated. Drink enough water and/or electrolyte solution so that your urine is mostly colorless. You could use pedialyte or Gatorade for electrolyte solution. If that does not resolve the issue it would be prudent to see your doctor or go to ER.
