You can safely assume that the test manufacturer and/or the lab have assured the test remains accurate for a long time (probably a week or two, maybe longer) in case of delayed delivery. Certainly they do not want to market or promote a test for posting that would not be valid because of postal delays. But if in doubt, ask the lab you sent it to.
