55 yof. i have left nipple pain. no redness no lump. x3 months. 2 drs have examined and said nerve related. last imaging was 3 years ago. im scared because i dont understand what to do now? how much longer for a nerve to heal? i feel lost,scared?

Nipples are sensitive and prone to friction. Absence of redness & lump is reassuring. I'd trust the opinion of a breast surgeon.

Please apply twice daily a mild cortisone prescription ointment, not cream, ie.Fluocinolone . Gently rub it in to the nipple and surrounding skin . Should hopefully reduce the nipple discomfort in 7-10 days.
