Loss of feeling and taste on top of tongue and almost completely white. bottom of tongue feels normal. was given nystatin and told it was thrush. how long usually until taste and feeling come back?

Treatment time is generally 7-10 days. Use the Nystatin as directed & stay well hydrated. If difficult to eat or drink, a dentist can prescribe a compounded solution to coat your mouth to make it more comfortable however, it does nothing to heal it faster. If dairy tolerant, you can add yogurt with active cultures which may help. Take care.
