"Birth control pills" are very low dose currently, so even a slight deviation from taking the active pills can result in withdrawal bleeding. Stop the current pack, wait five days and start a new pack , but take the active pills within the hour of the previous day's active pill to reduce the occurrence of withdrawal bleeding.
