I am sure that your Gyn took all that in consideration before prescribing it. You are under 29 so it should work. If still worried call your prescriber to recommend an alternative.

Anovera is a ring type device containing hormones , and is effective birth control but not as reliable as oral bcp therapy. Ask your GYN about an IUD or oral bcp's for more certainty about birth control closer to 96-98%.
