Depends on other findings. In a person with deceased cardiac function a persistently increased heart rate may predispose to heart failure and lung congestion which can cause one to cough.. Less well known and understood are episodes of cough associated with premature beats. In your case, if your cough is predictably related to heart rate, further evaluation may be warranted to assess cardiac funct

One way would be the heart rate is so fast (you did not say how fast) or irregular (you did not tell us if it is regular or noe) your heart may not be emptying well and blood is backing up in your lungs. Discuss with your Dr.s
