She is 17yrs. been having intermittent serious inside pain in right leg, from upper hip down to back of her knees. no swell.feels it around her menstrual cycle , don't know what link if any. and it's severe that makes impossible to walk. please help?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Regular exercise while she is not in pain may improve her muscle health and resolve the issue, If that does not help, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Endometriosis comes to mind if the leg pain is definitely related to the menstrual period & she doesn't seem to experience any leg,hip,back discomfort during the rest of the month. Start with an evaluation by a gynecologist. She can be referred to an orthopedic specialist if there's no gyn cause.
