People can develop lumps under their armpit for a number of reasons from swollen lymph nodes (from infection or possibly lymphoma), to tumors, to swollen sweat gland(s). Sometimes deodorants can either directly, or indirectly (by causing local inflammatory reactions) plug up the opening of one or more sweat glands. Check with your doctor to evaluate what the cause of your swelling might be.
