: If you experience shortness of breath with minimal exertion like climbing one flight of stairs,or have wheezing,chest discomfort or continual cough get a pulmonary evaluation including chest x-ray &amp; pulmonary function testing. If you don't have shortness of breath with exertion, I don't think your heavy breathing is significant.
