Usually time: Tracheomalacia is immature development with resultant soft trachea, cartilage not s hard.Most causes are seconday to pressure in utero by either blood vessels (vasc ring), interruption in esophagus (atresia) cocngenital tumor, pressing on trachea. Idiopathic tracheomalacia can occur and causes noisy breathing that usually disappears by approx.. With idiopathic noise is usually worse than symptoms.
