The burning sensation is expected, because the incision cut through nerves on the skin. This discomfort slowly resolves and is not dangerous. Regarding the pain, it is caused by the same mechanism, but as it’s lessening as time goes by, it’s not a problem either. Any progressive pain should prompt a medical visit. I hope this helps.
