Clomiphene citrate ("Clomid") is used by fertility physicians to stimulate ovulation, however,some evaluation of the reasons for the "missed period" should be made prior to random Clomid use. Stress, and of course pregnancy can cause delays in ovulation, which will delay menstruation. Consult with your GYN physician and perhaps get a referral to a fertility physician.
