First obtain a serum HCG test to determine pregnancy, and if negative, ask specifically when your gyn physician recommends starting Clomid, which helps promote ovulation. If your periods are irregular, ovulation may be frequently delayed, and Clomid will be most effective if used after five days subsequent to a post ovulatory period.

Second opinion please : I took clomid 100mg this cycle. My fertility specialist did a vaginal ultra sound on cycle day 16. 2 Follicles seen and size was 14 and 15mm. Doc says i most likely will ovulate on day 19 or 20. Is this correct? 31 day period.
