A drug allergic reaction may be present. It should improve with allergy eye drops. Rinse with saline and if redness persists, see your physician. For eye pain or change in vision, see the Emergency room.

Oral clindamycin does not usually cause itching. Allergies are possible with all medications, but it unlikely that itchy eyes would be the only manisfestation of a true allergy.
