My daughter (12 y/o) told me that she was anxious and felt her heart racing , i took her pulse and it was 125 , is that ok or should i be concerned?

Although anxiety can cause rapid heart rates, it should subside relatively quickly. If this persists, take your daughter to her pediatrician for an EKG and exam.

Has she just ran a marathon or what else was gong on? Hot down there now. Love Ponce. Anxiety can do this. Heart racing is part of the "anxiety" syndrome which is mediated in part by the sympathetic nervous system thus speeding up the hear and making it pound harder and faster. Should settle down with rest..
