Most likely contaminated food or drink also known as Food - Poisoning is a fairly common cause. Gall Bladder and other digestive issues could be implicated, but food -poisoning for one 23years old is high on the list.

Many possibilities from gi related to anxiety and/or substance use related if applicable, with cannabis notorious to cause such symptoms. Cyclic vomiting has also been described and is poorly understood. A thorough evaluation will be needed.
