Today, i had the urge to vomit - like something was coming out from near my stomach to my throat. i vomited a very little bit saliva-like fluid (no food or anything in it). is this abnormal or needs medical examination?

This sounds like it could be gastroesophageal reflux. Would observe & see if it happens with certain foods or lying down. If it continues please see your doctor.
