For a hormonal iud like liletta (progestin) that lasts for 5 years, is it normal for the hormones to start wearing off in the last year? i feel my hormones raging in year 5 like i havent felt in years 1-4?

The hormones in the IUD have a local effect and should minimal to no systemic effects, so it is not plausible that they would cause your symptoms. It would be useful to discuss them with your gynecologist as “hormones raging” is very nonspecific.
