A member asked:

Do any medical conditions correlate with high ig (3.8%) and spontaneous pneumothorax? dealing with chronic pain for two years, cbc showed high immature granulocytes, and months later i was hospitalized for a 20% pneumothorax?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I'm used to seeing IgG expressed in mg/dl & not by %. Increased immature granulocytes occuri in infections and in leukemia. Spontaneous pneumothorax can be seen in smokers and in autoimmune disorders. Elevated IgG also occurs in autoimmune disorders. Your physician or specialists, who know your clinical findings, are best qualified to put all this information together for you.
