Culture of Medicine: The only way to have privacy is to make an appointment and go in person to see your physician. I find it extremely bizarre that you would want to first talk to your physician and in the same breath want to punish them for doing their job. This is bizarre thinking. Perhaps you should ask your friends what they do to see their physicians.
