Not related to it: HealthTap is currently (2015) independent of medical insurance. HealthTap BASIC is free informational answers. HealthTap virtual consults are premium services, that have no connection to commercial medical insurance, Medicare, nor Medicaid (MediCal in California). Of course, in future years insurers might consider covering services on HealthTap, but that is not currently happening.
