Ive had take augmentin 6 different times this year for sinuses and tooth infection,my gum is swollen around tooth im on 500mg augmentin gums still swollen gland sore worried augmentin isnt working anymore am i immune to augmentin scared here?

Your tooth infection needs to be actually physically treated by a dentist, not by antibiotics. Your sinus infections may be related to the problematic tooth. See a dentist for a proper diagnosis. Yes, long term antibiotic use can build up bacterial resistance.

Not all gum swelling is related to infection and frequent use of antibiotics will likely result in bacterial resistance. Seeing your dentist for an exam would be best at this point.
