Your cycles can be disrupted by many things (including the stress and anxiety from trying to conceive!) but it is premature to jump to conclusions after just this one late period, and it is not yet necessary to get checked. If you do not get your period within the next three weeks or if your periods now become irregular then you will need to be evaluated.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor.
