If in the US and your partner has not had sex with men or injection drug user & no other high risk for HIV, the chance he has it is maybe one in a thousand. If he has it, the transmission risk is also about 1 in a thousand. Thus your HIV risk may be around 1 in a million -- i.e. almost zero. HSV2 raises the risk but still very unlikely. To be sure, get tested for HIV. Probably will be negative.

Unsafe sex is always risky and it takes 10 -33 days for a NAT test for a result and 18 - 45 days for a blood test.. A PEP test can be done up to 72 hours after exposure. An antibody test takes 23-90 days to detect an infection. Your past history is a result of unsafe sex and needs to be corrected to avoid these problems.
