If you have found Sedistress or other OTC medication helpful in this situation, it may help again. However, prescription medications are more likely to help, and drugs in the class called "beta blockers" (propranolol and others) often are effective to prevent or reduce performance anxiety. Something to discuss with your personal physician. Good luck.

Yes, beta blockers (e.g., propranolol) can often be highly effective, even at rather low doses, when used prior to a potentially-stressful situation. But of course, discuss with your primary care provider.

Although beta blocker medications can be helpful, this is temporary and not a longterm solution. De-conditioning via biofeedback therapy and/or cognitive behavioral therapy is extremely valuable to teach techniques to overcome "stage fright", and would strongly urge this approach for future stabilization.
