If you had severe bladder frequency as part of your UTI symptoms this may have caused a relative reduction of bladder sensitivity. If this were a severe situation you would develop urinary retention resulting in a markedly distended bladder which would require urgent catheterization. I doubt your diminished sensation of the urge to urinate falls into this category. If it does, see a urologist

If you can pee now even with reduced sensation you should get the feeling back soon, Void every 4-5 hours. Drink 5-6 glasses of water and if not better see a Urologist
