Other stuff : If someone dies of congestive heart failure they may have multiple other diseases (comorbid conditions) that caused it. For example diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure all together.

Other illness...: Co-morbid conditions are other illnesses that increase the chance of complications or delayed recovery from the presenting problem. For example, coexistence of heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and diabetes in the same patient. Intermlngling of conditions can make it harder to treat the disease at hand. For example, diabetes makes it much harder for wounds to heal.
