Estazolam is a benzodiazepine so normally they make you tired and in fact it is used for insomnia. But it may be your heaviness is anxiety and benzodiazepines help with that and therefore it benefits you. Please do not take other sedating medication with this drug as it can result in oversedation, even coma and respiratory depression. It can also result in depdence/ addiction, F/U w/ psychiatry
