Both my big toenails are detaching from nailbed probably from wearing too tight of a shoe trying to find the right ones. should i cut the detached portion off so a new one can grow? how should i take care of it? tyvm for advice?

It is usually not a good idea to do any corrective alteration on one's person, so get a referral to a dermatologist or podiatrist for this kind of situation.

It is better to tape the nails down until you can get to a Podiatrist. Loose nails can catch on socks and pull the nail off
