I was prescribed fluconazole for yeast infection , took 2 doses and i still feel somewhat the same . im irritated and i dont smell unless i touch the goo and it smells like tuna for a min till it dries then goes away,i use antibacterial soap to wash?

Fluconazole only covers one kind of vaginitis. If it doesn’t resolve see Doctor in person for testing. National discharge and symptoms can also be caused by trichomonas vaginitis bacterial vaginitis or genital herpes

The fishy odor is typical of bacterial vaginosis. Yeast infection most commonly causes itching. The discharge looks like cottage cheese. Your symptoms, without looking under the microscope ( to tell if yeast or trich ) would most likely be helped by taking an antibiotic called Flagyl or the generic name metronidazole.
