Kissing is a highly intimate experience, and what ever germs each of you have that your beloved or you did not can produce a reaction until you become aclimatized to each others commensal bacterial flora. We have been getting away with this for five thousand years so I think after you get over the initial scuples you will get used to it.

Saliva contains many forms of bacteria and disease products .If you or your partner have gum disease or a weak immune system than you or your partner or both are at risk for many diseases. Some examples are HEP A, HEP-B is possible if sores in mouth. Chicken POX and STD'S. Some other are AIDS if gum disease present and HERPES , EPSTEIN -BARR AND HEP- C. Both of you should be checked out now.
