Do the test if you do not want to get pregnant. Otherwise, you can wait for another week or so, the longer you wait the more conclusive of the test.

If you had sex since your last period, do a home pregnancy test. . If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. Wish you good health!
