Dr. Google can be dangerous. I recommend getting a one month subscription to uptodate.com ($20) & read every thing there about GERD & mouth/throat cancer. Worth the time & money & may even save your life. Reflux can cause the cough if your stomach contents come up & go down your larynx into lungs Gravity never sleeps so putting the head of you bed on 4-8" blocks may help a lot. Discus with Dr.
