I have a mild tingling sensation in my urethra. i have a very safe sexual lifestyle (1 partner). i took a 10 panel std test and everything came back negative. what could it be? seems to be getting more "uncomfortable ". gets worse when sitting?

Discomfort or pain in the urethra could be urethritis, which has both infectious and non-infectious causes. Considering the negative STD panel, the sensation you describe is likely chemical urethritis, which might be due to a new detergent or soap or some sort of irritation. Agree with Dr. Shapiro. An additional consideration is a concentrated urine. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. Wish you good health!
