Irregular periods are quite common as long as they are more of the exception than the rule.If you haven’t been evaluated for reasons why it may be time to get checked because many of the causes of the irregular periods are treatable.

Assuming you are otherwise feeling fine and a pregnancy test is negative, this is certainly annoying but it is too early to predict if this is an isolated episode or a recurring or persistent problem. While it is not wrong to get checked it might be more helpful to wait this out a little longer.
