It is unlikely to be renal in origin bu t if you are worried about the pain I would see your doctor and have it checked out. Good Luck

There are several possibilities: kidney stones, kidney infection, appendicitis or diverticulitis. The other key questions include: any blood in the urine? Any fever/ chills? If this continues, you should see a physician for exam and blood/urine tests
