Proper treatment of underactive thyroid will facilitate your getting pregnant. As and when you do, if would be imperative to stay current on your thyroid medication for your and your baby's health. Wish you good health and a healthy baby!

False positive pregnancy tests are actually quite rare, and I do not think hypothyroidism or the thyroid hormone replacement pills can cause false positives on a pregnancy test. There are some other medications that can do it, but you should really see a gynecologist to rule out problems in your ovaries or your pituitary gland that could be causing the positive tests.
