Would urge confirmation of underlying cause of hand symptoms, such as carpal tunnel syndrome. An EMG/ NCS will be a helpful initial step if not done previously. Might wonder about a more widespread disorder if feet and legs are involved. Pregabalin might quell symptoms, but certainly is NOT curative. A neurologist should be helpful.

The most common cause of numbness and tingling isolated to the hands is carpal tunnel syndrome. Your family doc should be able to guide you through diagnosis and treatment. The specialists that see this condition are hand surgeons, PM&R and neurology.
