My 3 year old daughter has a uti and yeast infection. doctor gave antibiotics and external yeast infection cream. if the yeast infection is in her vagina should she have something oral to take for that as well instead of just external cream?

Topical yeast medication often works particularly if it’s a mild infection. Give it a try and if not effective discuss other methods of care. The least potentially harmful medication, the better.
