Cat's nails are very sharp & can puncture deeply. Cats can carry bacteria even when they are vaccinated. You should go to an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Room for an exam immediately. You may need oral antibiotics or if the infection is severe you may need intravenous antibiotics or you may even need to be hospitalized. I wish you well with your health!

Agree with prior answer. Cat nails can act like needles and penetrate bacteria deep into a wound. If there is pus, there is risk of the infection spreading deeply and quickly in the hand. Evaluation is recommended, as infections in the hand can quickly worsen and require IV antibiotics or surgery.
