A member asked:

I take suboxone 2 mg and klonopin. had my most recent labs in august and ultrasound in september. all was normal. i just had my liver panel done. should i be concerned that something may be wrong? or labs would be elevated?

There is no need to worry about anything before seeing you lab results. All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests.

Unless you have reasons to be concerned, labs are done in order to eliminate concerns or to be able to pick up early conditions that may be treated. Your current meds are of concern, one to treat addiction and the other habit forming. Talk to your treating doc about your worries.
