Can post-nasal drip aggravate acid reflux issues?

Post nasal drip causes an annoying need to constantly clear your throat of cough nonproductively often, but I don't see any significant relationship with acid reflux in causing actual mucus in the postnasal area. Some feel that dry postnasal drip like sensation may be due to "silent" reflux.
