Neuropathy: is damage to nerves, often the result of diabetes or chemo. Please do what you can to prevent it and don't think it is inevitable. A nutritionist or natural doctor can make some suggestions such as Alpha Lipoic Acid at proper dose. Peace and good health.

Yes: Diabetes causes injury to nerves. This is seen most often at the ends of the longest nerves (foot numbness and pain).
