Would suggest taking a medical leave until work up completed as symptoms can impair his ability to work. A neurologist follow will be needed also prior to return to work and following the MRI.

Depending upon age, the "TIA" could be due to complex migraine event, decreased blood flow secondary to cardiac, carotid, or smaller blood vessel issues, and this all needs sorting out. An MRI may be unlikely to give conclusive answers, and a CTA or MRA may be helpful. The fatigue and dizziness may indicate a systemic problem. ?cardiology and neurology?
