When your pupils react to light differently it can mean underlying pathology. You should get a second opinion from an Ophthalmologist, because additional testing may be needed.

Different size pupils, or anisocoria, is found in about 20% of people and is usually normal. Different pupillary reaction to light is not normal and needs to be investigated further. So either there was a miscommunication, or you need to see an eye MD, ophthalmologist, for another pupil check and possible work up.
