Are period blood clots normal in a 12 year old? she have her period since she was 11 but sometimes she get what i call big blood clots like 2 inch. most of the times she get pelvic pain and when she goes to the bathroom there's a blood clot?

Clots usually indicate excessive blood loss during periods. It would be prudent to contact a gynecologist for an evaluation. She should take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia.
