I have a giant liver hemangioma (9cm) that has been growing since 2005. its now causing symptoms (feeling of fullness, slight nausea). is surgery the only treatment option? what is your opinion on embolization or ablation for large liver hemangioma?

Although ablation with embolization may be possible, with the size of the hemangioma noted, it may not succeed. A consult with an experienced general surgeon should provide guidance, if the symptoms related in your question are truly secondary to the hemangioma.
